OX Taste of Now restaurant to close in Braunschweig

The restaurant OX ‘Taste of Now’ in Braunschweig, Germany, will close at the end of the year due to economic reasons. The decision was announced by the shareholders and management in a press release.

The restaurant, located in the historic Haus zur Hanse, had undergone a significant rebranding and concept change approximately one year ago. Previously known as OX U.S. Steakhouse, the establishment transitioned to an international menu featuring fish and vegetarian options. Despite receiving positive feedback from guests regarding the new concept, the business was not economically sustainable.

While the restaurant is closing, the hotel located within the same historic building will continue its operations. Management expressed gratitude to the restaurant team for their extraordinary commitment during the transition.
