Oxford United defeat Notts County 2-1 at Meadow Lane

Oxford United secured a 2-1 victory against Notts County at Meadow Lane in a League One fixture. Mark Harris opened the scoring for Oxford in the 18th minute following a mistake by Notts County goalkeeper James Belshaw.

Despite a second-half effort from the hosts, Oxford extended their lead in the 88th minute through a clinical counterattack finished by Cameron Brannagan. Rory Finneran scored for Notts County during stoppage time to reduce the deficit, but it was not enough to prevent a third consecutive defeat for the Magpies.
