Oxxx Co., Ltd. launches functional lemon green tea

Oxxx Co., Ltd. has launched ‘Nomu dake cha’, a functional lemon green tea powder designed to support body fat reduction and intestinal health. Released on August 20, 2025, the product utilizes Ureshino tea from Saga Prefecture and lemons from the Setouchi region.

The beverage is formulated with 150mg of gallic acid catechin per serving to help suppress fat absorption and 100 million units of spore-forming lactic acid bacteria to improve bowel movements. It is registered as a food with functional claims with the Consumer Affairs Agency.

Related nutritional guidance suggests that green tea is a beneficial choice for managing visceral fat due to its catechin content, which can help suppress sugar absorption. Experts note that consuming the tea leaves themselves can increase active ingredient intake from approximately 30% in liquid form to 70%.
