OYO Hotel & Casino faces scrutiny over misleading Palette Las Vegas listings
A Utah resident, Ariana Patino, discovered that a hotel she booked through Booking.com under the name Palette Las Vegas was actually the OYO Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
Patino reported that after being unable to find the address listed on her reservation, she arrived at the OYO property and found the registration desk matched the Palette Las Vegas listing. A receptionist at the hotel reportedly told the guests that different listings were being used to see which would gain more traction.
In a statement, OYO Hotel & Casino apologized for the confusion. The hotel explained they were evaluating how different room categories could be positioned under various brands and noted that the listing went live while renovations and signage were still being completed.
