Oz Clarke leads charity cycling mission for music programs

Oz Clarke and a 15-member team from the music charity Armonico Consort are undertaking a four-day charity bike challenge from September 8 to 11. The group will cycle from Exeter to Wimborne to raise funds for the establishment of children’s and dementia choirs in the region.

As part of the fundraising mission, the team will perform public concerts in Budleigh Salterton, Lyme Regis, and Wimborne Minster. The performances will feature professional singers and instrumentalists playing works such as Handel’s ‘Messiah’ and ‘Zadok the Priest,’ joined by guest community and school choirs. The group also plans to visit care homes and conduct school workshops to promote the transformative power of music.
