Ozegna inaugurates renovated nursery school and restored Don Coriasso bust

The community of Ozegna celebrated the inauguration of a renovated nursery school facade and the unveiling of a restored bust of Don Lorenzo Coriasso on Friday, September 25.

The project was a collaborative effort between the Ozegna municipal administration, the local Società Operaia led by President Enzo Francone, and the Lions Clubs of Alto Canavese and Rivarolo Occidentale. The restoration of the bust was performed by Margherita Riccardi, while historian Enzo Morozzo provided context regarding the life and works of Don Coriasso.

Mayor Federico Pozzo noted that the initiative aims to preserve the town's history and provide a more welcoming environment for children. Don Coriasso is recognized for his historical contributions to the community, including the establishment of the nursery school and the recovery of the Santuario della Madonna del Bosco.
