Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath final concert film to release in cinemas

The concert film ‘Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning’ is scheduled for a worldwide limited theatrical release starting October 28. The film documents the historic July 5, 2025, performance at Villa Park in Birmingham, which served as the final appearance for Ozzy Osbourne and the last reunion of the original Black Sabbath lineup, including Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward.

The event was a massive undertaking, with over three million ticket requests for 44,000 available seats. The film, running approximately two and a half hours, features performances from a wide array of heavy metal artists such as Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Slayer, Tool, and Pantera, alongside all-star segments curated by musical director Tom Morello.

The film carries significant emotional weight, as Osbourne passed away on July 22, 2025, just seventeen days after the concert. In addition to the musical performances, the documentary includes behind-the-scenes footage and personal reflections from musicians and family members, including Sharon Osbourne and host Jason Momoa.
