Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath final performance to be released as film and album

The final performance of Ozzy Osbourne with the original Black Sabbath lineup is being released as a live album and concert film titled ‘Back to the Beginning’. The concert took place in July 2025 at Villa Park in Birmingham, UK, marking the first time the original members—Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward—performed together in over 20 years.

Following the performance, Osbourne passed away 17 days later. The release includes a live LP and a Blu-ray version featuring various guest performers, including Mastodon, Tool, Anthrax, and Halestorm, with musical direction by Tom Morello.

The film, directed by Ben Wainwright-Pearce, is scheduled for a one-night-only theatrical showing on October 28, with a wider release following. Physical album products will include the feature film on 4K Blu-ray, and a deluxe box set is expected in April 2027.
