Ozzy Osbourne exhibition in Birmingham nears closure

The Ozzy Osbourne exhibition, titled ‘Ozzy Osbourne: Working Class Hero’, is set to close at the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery on Sunday, September 27, 2026. Since its opening by Sharon Osbourne on June 25, 2025, the free exhibition has attracted nearly 800,000 visitors, leading to two extensions due to high demand.

The display chronicles the musician's life, tracing his journey from a working-class upbringing in Aston to international stardom as the leader of Black Sabbath and a successful solo artist. It features personal memorabilia, photography, video, and prestigious honors such as Grammy Awards, Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame accolades, and Hollywood Walk of Fame recognition.

A central piece of the exhibition is Osbourne’s iconic black gothic-style throne, which was used during his final performance at the ‘Back To The Beginning’ concert at Villa Park. The exhibition serves as a tribute to his legacy following his death in 2025.
