Pa. Ranjith releases introductory video for film Vetrima

Director Pa. Ranjith has released a ‘World of Vetrima’ introductory video for his upcoming film, Vetrima. The project, produced by Neelam Productions and Learn and Teach Productions, explores themes of power politics and human competition across three different eras: ancient, contemporary, and future.

The film features martial arts such as Adimurai and Malsambu as central elements of the conflict between various groups. The cast includes Arya, V. Dinesh, Sobhita Dhulipala, Kalaiyarasan, and Mim Gopi, with music composed by GV Prakash Kumar.

Actor Arya noted during a recent event in Chennai that the film's scale has grown significantly, with the budget increasing from an initial 25 crore rupees to approximately 75 crore rupees. The production has faced challenges, including the tragic death of stunt master S. Mohanraj during filming last year, but has continued under increased security.
