Paank alleges Pakistan Army bombardment killed civilians in Soorab

The Baloch human rights organization Paank has condemned a reported bombardment of civilian areas in Soorab, Balochistan, by the Pakistan Army. The group alleges the military operation resulted in significant civilian casualties, including women and children.

According to reports from Paank, six individuals have been identified as killed and nine others injured in the incident. The organization emphasized the grave human cost of conducting military operations in populated areas and stated that civilians must never be targeted.

Paank is calling for an independent, impartial, and transparent investigation into the bombardment. The group further demanded that those responsible for unlawful attacks be held accountable under international human rights and humanitarian law, while urging authorities to provide immediate medical treatment and humanitarian assistance to the victims.
