Paara announces third black metal album ‘Laulut tulen ja jään’

Finnish black metal band Paara has announced their third full-length album, titled ‘Laulut tulen ja jään’. The release is scheduled for October 30, 2026, through the label Dusktone.

The band, which has been active for approximately fifteen years, describes the new work as their most expansive and dynamic manifestation to date. The music is characterized by a blend of aggressive black metal assaults and majestic passages featuring clean vocals and choral arrangements. The compositions aim to reflect the Finnish landscape, incorporating elements such as acoustic passages and structural shifts that move between harshness and atmospheric beauty.

The first single, ‘Pohjolan’, is currently available for streaming.
