Pabianice Opens New Green Riverside Recreation Area

The city of Pabianice in central Poland has opened the renovated Bulwar im. Feliksa Krushego along the Dobrzynka River. The two‑hectare site features two playgrounds, an outdoor fitness station, a sonic mist inhalation pavilion, walking and cycling paths, benches, bike stands, decorative shrubs and a newly planted meadow.

The project, funded by the Łódź Provincial Fund for Environment and Water Management, includes modern lighting, video monitoring and a temporary fence to protect the area from wildlife. Final inspections were completed and the area was handed over for public use, offering residents and visitors a new green space for recreation and health.

The development adds 46 new trees, 23,000 flowering perennials, 1,500 ornamental shrubs and a community‑run inhalation zone that creates a mineral‑rich mist using ultrasonic technology, aimed at providing therapeutic benefits.
