Pabianice secures funding for Lutomierska Street intersection reconstruction

The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) has secured additional funding for the reconstruction of the intersection of Lutomierska Street and the railway line in Pabianice. This development addresses previous budget shortages that had stalled the tender process following the opening of bids in June.

The tender for the project is expected to be resolved within September. If a contractor is selected without formal obstacles, construction on Lutomierska Street is set to begin. The project has faced long-standing delays dating back to 2007, including a suspension in 2020 due to disputes regarding the road's administrative status. Recent progress follows a court ruling maintaining the road's national status and new safety initiatives involving PKP PLK.
