Pablo Gavián to miss remainder of season with knee injury
Pablo Gavián, a 20-year-old right-back for Celta Fortuna, will miss the rest of the season following a severe knee injury. Medical examinations confirmed a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
The injury occurred during a match against Córdoba CF, where the player was forced to leave the field. Gavián is expected to undergo surgery in the coming days to reconstruct the ligament, followed by a lengthy rehabilitation process.
This injury adds to a growing list of medical concerns for the Celta Fortuna squad. Other players currently sidelined or undergoing testing include Alexis Olmedo, Anxo Rodríguez, Hugo Cuenca, and Bernard Somuah. The loss of Gavián leaves the team with limited options at the right-back position.
