Pablo Perona completes hyperrealistic bust of Antonio López Torres

Artist Pablo Perona has completed a hyperrealistic bust of Antonio López Torres, the renowned painter for whom the museum in Tomelloso is named. Perona, who has spent over twenty years working in special effects, dedicated three years to the project as a tribute to his city.

Perona intends to donate the sculpture to the Museo López Torres. His goal is to provide museum visitors with a more personal connection to the artist, noting that while his paintings are widely known, there are few photographs available to help people visualize the man behind the work.
