Pablo Roberto endorses Colbert Martins Filho for 2026 state deputy

Pablo Roberto, the Vice-Mayor and Secretary of Education of Feira de Santana, has officially announced his support for former mayor Colbert Martins Filho's candidacy for state deputy in the 2026 elections. Martins Filho, who joined the Brazilian Social Democracy Party (PSDB) in April, aims to secure a seat in the Bahia Legislative Assembly.

During a press conference, Pablo Roberto noted that his decision followed extensive research and analysis indicating the electoral viability of Martins Filho's campaign. He emphasized Martins Filho's political trajectory and ability to communicate with various groups.

Addressing potential political divisions, Pablo Roberto denied any internal rift within his group, despite some local councilors declaring support for a different candidate, Pastor Tom. He stated that he respects the independent decisions of his colleagues and maintains a relationship of mutual respect within the party.
