Pablo Trapero's 'Sus hijos' features Bill Nighy and Imelda Staunton

The film ‘Sus hijos’, directed by Pablo Trapero, features performances by Bill Nighy and Imelda Staunton. The story follows an unprestigious writer living in seclusion in the British countryside after two decades of alcoholism and separation from his wife, Isabel.

Co-written by Sarah Polley, this is Trapero’s first English-language film. It marks a stylistic departure from his previous works, such as ‘Leonera’ and ‘Carancho’, moving toward a chamber-piece style that focuses on internal character agitation and family reunions.
