Pablo Villanueva (Melcochita) and Heydi Amado discuss relationship, deny plans for children amid divorce and abuse case

Peruvian comedian Pablo Villanueva, known as “Melcochita,” and his partner Heydi Amado appeared on the TV program “El Reventonazo de la Chola.” Amado said the couple is not planning to have children, citing Villanueva’s advanced age and the responsibility involved, and emphasized that they are happy together.

Villanueva has filed a domestic‑violence complaint and a request for protective measures against his estranged wife, Monserrat Seminario, alleging physical assaults, psychological abuse, a hypertensive crisis and other health impacts. He also announced he will initiate divorce proceedings after returning to Peru. Seminario has responded by accusing Villanueva of refusing to pay a pension for their older daughter.
