PACE Automobil Museum evacuated in Dortmund following threats
Police in Dortmund evacuated the PACE Automobil Museum, owned by tuning personality Jean Pierre ‘JP’ Kraemer, following anonymous threats. The threats reportedly claimed the establishment would be ‘torn apart’ shortly.
The police operation occurred on Friday afternoon, shortly after allegations of domestic violence against Kraemer became public. Kraemer admitted in a YouTube video to striking his wife and pulling a necklace from her neck during an altercation, stating, ‘One does not hit women, that is also correct, that was not right of me.’
Following the threats, Kraemer’s lawyer notified the police, leading to the evacuation of the museum and the closure of other businesses within Kraemer’s company for the remainder of the day. Authorities are currently investigating the identity of the anonymous callers. The PACE museum, which opened in May 2022, is a significant project for Kraemer with an estimated cost of approximately six million euros.
