Pace Digitek wins 115 MWh battery storage project in Delhi
Pace Digitek has secured a Letter of Intent from BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BSES) to develop a 57.5 MW/115 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Delhi. The project will be implemented across four grid station locations: Sagarpur-DESU Colony, Bindapur, Hari Nagar, and G4.
The project follows a 12-year build, own, operate, and transfer (BOOT) model with an estimated capital outlay of approximately INR 179.4 crore. It is scheduled to be commissioned within seven months of the agreement's effective date. Under the long-term Battery Energy Storage Service Agreement (BESSA), Pace Digitek will receive a fixed capacity tariff of INR 47.05 lakh per MW per year, resulting in an annual contracted capacity revenue of INR 27.1 crore.
This marks Pace Digitek’s fifth major utility-scale BOO/BOOT storage project, bringing its total utility-scale portfolio to 3.32 GWh. The company has recently secured additional orders worth INR 761 crore since the end of Q1 FY2027.
