Pacevecchia residents propose neighborhood park and urgent maintenance

Residents in the Pacevecchia district of Benevento are calling for urgent maintenance and urban improvements through the civic committee ‘Benevento Partecipa’. The group is highlighting significant neglect in the area surrounding via Antonio Segni and the IACP villa complex, specifically noting uncontrolled vegetation, debris, and overgrown sidewalks.

Beyond aesthetic concerns, residents report that the lack of maintenance contributes to frequent flooding during heavy rains. They are requesting that the municipal administration perform cleaning and preventive maintenance on drainage systems, including gutters and grates, to mitigate flood risks.

Additionally, citizens have proposed transforming an underutilized municipal green space into a neighborhood park. The proposal suggests adding amenities such as benches, trees, and children's play areas to convert the currently unused clearing into a social space for local families.
