Pachuca and Puebla unveil weekend cultural programs
The Municipal Institute for Culture of Pachuca announced a series of free events beginning July 30, including a photographic tour of historic districts, exhibitions on regional heritage at the Casa de Cultura and the Sala Memorias, and the launch of the 11th Museum Route. Installations such as "Lodosa Memoria" and the "Muestra Única de Arte Chueco Vol. 2" will run through mid‑August, offering residents and visitors a broad mix of photography, visual art and historical displays.
Meanwhile, Puebla’s Municipal Institute of Art and Culture (IMACP) presented a two‑day agenda for July 25‑26 that features a national Danzón showcase, free cinema screenings at the Museo Amparo, folkloric performances in the historic centre, a concert by Javier Díaz, and an evening of the Guelaguetza dance troupe at the university cultural complex. Family‑friendly activities such as storytelling sessions and live music are also scheduled throughout the weekend.
