Pachuca community members participate in urban maintenance event

Approximately 300 participants took part in ‘Faena 87’, a community maintenance event held along the bicycle path spanning from Avenida Constituyentes to the Rojo Gómez neighborhood in Pachuca. The initiative was led by municipal president Jorge Reyes.

The group included public servants, representatives from the educational and business sectors, artisans, merchants, and civil society members. The primary goal of the work was to maintain and conserve the urban space for daily users, including those commuting or engaging in physical activity.

Jorge Reyes emphasized the importance of fostering a culture of shared responsibility between the government and the community, stating that caring for Pachuca is a collective task for its residents. These maintenance sessions are part of ongoing municipal government actions to improve public spaces and address the urban environment directly.
