Pacific FC signs 17-year-old forward Dylan de Melo

Pacific FC has signed 17-year-old forward Dylan de Melo to a development contract. The London, Ontario, native previously made his senior debut at age 15 with FC London in the Ontario Premier League.

The contract allows de Melo to make up to four appearances for the club while maintaining his amateur status. He will train with Pacific FC while remaining eligible to play for the Pacific FC Academy.

Head coach Terry Dunfield described de Melo as a “dynamic and versatile attacking threat” who has performed well in training and friendlies. The signing is part of the club's effort to meet the Canadian Premier League’s requirement of 2,000 domestic U-21 minutes per season.
