Pacific League to launch special fan-focused commentary for Climax Series

Pacific League Marketing Co., Ltd. has announced a special secondary audio commentary project for the Persol Climax Series (CS) on the official streaming service, Persol Pacific League TV. This initiative, titled ‘Super Cheering! Live Commentary/Analysis for Fans,’ aims to enhance the viewing experience by providing enthusiastic, fan-oriented commentary alongside standard broadcasts.

For the First Stage on October 10, 2026, the broadcast will feature former players (OBs) providing dedicated commentary for both the Saitama Seibu Lions and the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. Specifically, Hisanobu Watanabe and GG Sato will support the Lions, while Daigo Yo and Hirotoshi Masui will support the Fighters.

During the Final Stage on October 14, 2026, the project will expand to include the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks. Yuki Yoshimura and Mitsuhiko Morifuku will provide commentary for the Hawks. If the Lions or Fighters advance to the Final Stage, their respective former players will also provide dedicated support commentary for those matches.
