Pacific region events focus on economic and cultural recovery in Colombia
The Pacific region of Colombia is hosting several events aimed at economic and cultural revitalization following a seismic emergency on August 10.
In Buenaventura, the Politécnico Grancolombiano will organize the ‘Encuentro de Innovación Pacífico – Avances Tecnológicos’ on September 18. This free event will bring together entrepreneurs, professionals, and students at the Hotel Cosmos Pacífico to discuss the future of maritime ports, logistics, and international trade. The initiative seeks to strengthen the region's productive activities and identify new business opportunities during the city's recovery process.
In Cali, the ‘Todos por el Pacífico’ festival will take place from September 18 to 20 at the San Juan Bautista sports courts in the El Guabal neighborhood. Organized by local artists and entrepreneurs, the festival features 60 exhibitors offering gastronomy and traditional products. The event was created to support local traditions and economic actors following the postponement of the Petronio Álvarez Festival due to the recent earthquake.
