Packaging Firms KBT Packing and Guardpack Launch New Production Solutions

KBT Packing announced a range of new packaging machinery aimed at improving product freshness, protection and production efficiency. The company highlighted its vacuum packaging machine for food items such as meat, seafood and ready meals, which removes air to extend shelf life, and its thermoforming system for scalable, repeatable packaging in food, medical and industrial sectors.

Guardpack introduced a custom-built production line for sachets and sachet wipes that can run at up to 150 sachets per minute and handle sizes from 60 × 60 mm to 70 × 140 mm with fill volumes up to 8 ml. The equipment features dual liquid dosing pumps, dual tissue feeds, advanced control systems and automated conveyor and counting processes, allowing new formats such as perforated sachets and varied tissue‑liquid combinations. General manager James Tucker said the system will reduce lead times, increase responsiveness and improve energy efficiency while expanding overall capacity.
