Packard Bell returns to consumer electronics with new product lineup
Acer is relaunching the Packard Bell brand after a hiatus lasting since 2013. The brand's return was announced at IFA 2026 with a new visual identity centered around a dot motif and a vibrant color palette including orange, purple, green, and yellow.
The new product lineup includes the DotBook, a 14.5-inch laptop priced starting at 499 euros, featuring an Intel Core 3 N355 processor and up to 16 GB of DDR4 memory. Other products in the 'Dot' series include the DotLoop suitcase-style vinyl player, DotTune speakers, DotLook audio glasses, DotShine ring lights, and the DotCombo keyboard and mouse set.
Notably, the brand is also introducing the DotLine, a budget-friendly 4G LTE basic phone priced from 69 euros. Designed for families or those seeking a digital detox, the phone features a 2.8-inch IPS LCD screen, a 2-megapixel camera, and a battery capable of up to two weeks of standby time. The first wave of products is expected to reach European markets in the final quarter of 2026.
