PACMA organizes protest in León for hunting dog rights

The Animalist Party with the Environment (PACMA) has organized a protest in León scheduled for Sunday, October 18, at 12:00 PM in Plaza San Marcelo. Under the slogan ‘Hunting dogs: include them in the law now!’, the demonstration aims to demand legal protections for dogs used in hunting, guarding, and herding activities.

This mobilization is part of a simultaneous national strategy involving thirteen Spanish cities, including Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, and Valencia. PACMA is calling for the central government to implement immediate modifications to the Animal Welfare Law and the Royal Decree on Zoological Nuclei, arguing that legal protection should not depend on an animal's utility or economic value to humans.
