Pacôme Dadiet to represent Côte d’Ivoire in FIBA qualifiers

Pacôme Dadiet, a 21-year-old basketball player currently under contract with the New York Knicks, is set to represent Côte d’Ivoire in the upcoming FIBA World Cup qualifiers. Having previously played for France in under-17 competitions, Dadiet’s commitment to the Côte d’Ivoire senior team provides a high-profile platform to increase his professional standing.

Dadiet signed a four-year rookie contract with the Knicks in July 2024, valued at approximately $13 million. The team has already activated a third-year option for the 2026-2027 season, which carries an annual salary of $2,983,680.

His upcoming international schedule includes three games against Mali, Egypt, and Angola. Performance during these qualifiers is viewed as a critical opportunity for Dadiet to raise his market value, potentially aiding his career within the NBA or facilitating a trade for the Knicks.
