Paco González to reduce radio duties at COPE
Spanish radio journalist Paco González has announced a change in his professional routine at COPE after 40 years in the industry. While he initially expressed a desire to retire to spend more time with his family, he has reached an agreement to remain with the station through 2030 with a reduced workload.
González will step back from his continuous weekend presence on the program ‘Tiempo de Juego’. He will be succeeded in leading the weekend and European football coverage by Heri Frade. Despite this shift, González will continue to participate in ‘Tiempo de Juego’ and ‘El Partidazo’ with a different level of dedication, and Manolo Lama will continue providing commentary from the field.
