Pacto Contra a Fome launches digital hub for food security organizations

The Pacto Contra a Fome HUB has launched a new “Mural de Oportunidades” (Opportunities Board), a centralized digital tool designed to connect organizations working on food security and food waste reduction with essential resources.

The platform serves as a hub for non-profit organizations, community collectives, cooperatives, and family farming networks. It centralizes information regarding public notices (editais), partnerships, courses, training, and volunteer opportunities. By allowing users to filter by theme and geographic location, the tool aims to increase the visibility of social initiatives and facilitate the flow of relevant information within the third sector.

Organizations can use the board to publish calls for partnerships or resources, with the ability to target specific regions, such as the Northeast of Brazil. The initiative seeks to strengthen the ecosystem by promoting transparency and accelerating the connection between resource providers and those executing projects on the ground.
