Pacto Global Chile promotes sustainability and decarbonization strategies

Pacto Global Chile recently hosted several high-level events focused on integrating sustainability into national business strategies and accelerating climate action.

At the “The Business Case for Sustainability” seminar, public sector representatives, international organizations, and business leaders discussed how sustainability criteria can enhance risk management, innovation, and long-term value creation. Participants emphasized that sustainability must be central to corporate strategy rather than a parallel agenda to remain competitive toward 2030.

Additionally, the organization participated in the Chile Carbon Forum 2026. This forum brought together academia, government, and private sectors to address climate action challenges and the development of carbon markets. Discussions included the use of international standards, such as SBTi, IFRS, and the GHG Protocol, to help organizations establish emission reduction targets and transition toward sustainable business models.
