Padang and Kampar regional governments strengthen institutional cooperation
Local governments in West Sumatra are enhancing institutional synergy to improve public services and legal governance. In Kampar, the regional government has partnered with the Kampar District Attorney’s Office to strengthen legal handling, specifically in civil and administrative law, to prevent legal issues in governance.
In Padang, Mayor Fadly Amran met with the Head of the Padang Religious Court to discuss improving judicial services. Key focus areas include resolving technical hurdles in court summons delivery and ensuring the fulfillment of child support rights for children of civil servants following divorce.
Additionally, Padang is advancing digital transformation in education through the Diskominfo department, which is piloting a Learning Management System (LMS) titled Ruang Kelas Digital at SMPN 17 Padang. This initiative aims to integrate digital learning and allow parents to monitor academic progress.
