Padang authorities conduct large-scale nightlife and drug enforcement operation

Satpol PP Padang conducted a large-scale 'Operasi Cipta Kondisi' targeting nightlife venues and karaoke facilities to maintain public order and tranquility in Padang. The operation, led by Satpol PP Head Chandra Eka Putra, involved collaboration with the West Sumatra Regional Police, Military Police, Police Medical and Health Division, and the National Narcotics Agency (BNN).

During the operation, authorities conducted urine tests on visitors to detect illegal drug use. Individuals testing positive for addictive substances were handed over to the police and BNN for further investigation. Additionally, officials monitored compliance with local operating hour regulations, issuing warnings to businesses and visitors found operating beyond permitted times.
