Padang City Government provides emergency aid to sick elderly resident

The Padang City Government, through its Social Services Department, has provided emergency assistance to Zainimar, an elderly resident suffering from illness in the Air Pacah Village, Koto Tangah District. The response was initiated following reports regarding her condition on Sunday, August 23, 2026.

Local officials, including Desfi Hendri from the Social Services Department and Wahyudi Edward from the Koto Tangah District, visited the resident to deliver essential supplies. The aid provided included mattresses, diapers, food packages, and wearable clothing to assist with daily needs and comfort during her illness.

Officials stated that the rapid assessment and distribution of aid are part of a continuous commitment to ensure social protection and timely assistance for vulnerable citizens within the Padang municipality.
