Padang City strengthens primary health care integration

The Padang City Government is strengthening the implementation of Primary Health Care Integration (ILP) across its health facilities, including community health centers (Puskesmas), auxiliary health centers (Pustu), and integrated service posts (Posyandu).

Through a cross-sectoral collaboration meeting held in late September 2026, officials aimed to optimize health services using a life-cycle approach. This strategy tailors medical care to specific age groups, ranging from pregnant women and infants to adolescents, adults, and the elderly.

Local authorities emphasized that successful integration requires active participation from various stakeholders, including sub-district heads, health facility leaders, and community health cadres, to ensure residents receive clear information and accessible services.
