Padang Mayor hosts 18th Indonesian Society of Respirology conference

Padang Mayor Fadly Amran hosted the 18th Working Conference of the Indonesian Society of Respirology (PDPI) in Padang. The event aimed to strengthen collaboration in the health sector and support regional economic recovery following recent disasters.

During the gathering, the Mayor emphasized the city's commitment to becoming a ‘healthy and smart city’ as outlined in the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD). He expressed hope that the PDPI would provide recommendations to help the local government address public health challenges through cooperation between the government, professional organizations, and academics.
