Padang PUPR Department rehabilitates Tabing Banda Gadang drainage

The Padang Public Works and Spatial Planning Department (Dinas PUPR) has commenced drainage rehabilitation works in the Tabing Banda Gadang area of the Nanggalo district. This project, identified as Drainage Rehabilitation Package 11, aims to optimize the function of existing drainage channels to ensure smooth water flow.

Head of the Padang PUPR Department, Malvi Hendri, stated that the initiative is part of a broader effort to improve environmental infrastructure. The primary goal is to reduce the potential for water accumulation and flooding during periods of high rainfall, thereby creating a safer and more comfortable residential environment.
