Padel Center Construction Approved in Montceau-les-Mines, France
The municipal authorities have granted a building permit for a new private padel centre on the Sainte‑Elisabeth site in Montceau‑les‑Mines. Construction is slated to begin in October 2026, with the facility expected to open in the first half of 2027. The 1,500 m² building will sit on a 5,000 m² plot and include four padel courts, a reception area, a restaurant and a bar. An acoustic study confirmed the design will not generate noise nuisances. The project will initially create two permanent full‑time jobs.
The centre aims to serve the growing community of padel enthusiasts in the region, offering both indoor and outdoor play options and adhering to the sport’s standard dimensions and rules.
