Padel tournaments draw large participation in Dominican Republic

Multiple padel tournaments have recently taken place in the Dominican Republic, attracting hundreds of competitors across various skill levels.

The United Capital Padel Tour 2026 held its third stop in Punta Cana from October 15 to 18 at Padel Galaxy. The event featured over 140 players in federated categories. In the men’s first category, Rayner Mejía and Marc Gimenez secured the title. The tournament, endorsed by the Real Federación Dominicana de Pádel, aims to expand its presence across the country by combining competition with community connection.

In another event, the third edition of the Palmera Team Cup was held at Padel Waterhouse. This competition utilizes a unique team-based format, featuring four teams with approximately 70 to 90 players each. The tournament includes ten different categories for both male and female players, ranging from the first to the fifth category. Participants compete for trophies and cash prizes supported by various sponsors.
