Padova secured a 2-0 victory against Südtirol at the Stadio Euganeo, moving the team into the playoff zone. The match was decided by two goals: Artistico opened the scoring in the 19th minute following an assist from Giunti, and Capelli sealed the win with a late strike in the 87th minute.
Following the result, Padova coach Antonio Calabro highlighted the team's growth and announced a change in the technical staff, appointing Donato Mataravolo as the new head of the physical preparation area to address perceived physical deficiencies.
For Südtirol, the defeat marks a difficult period as they struggle to find consistency. Despite maintaining a solid defensive organization and securing a clean sheet, the team was unable to overcome Padova's offensive pressure. The loss leaves Südtirol looking to bounce back in their upcoming fixture against Cesena.
