Padre Antonio Maria celebrated for 50 years of priesthood on TV Aparecida
TV Aparecida’s program Canções de Ouro featured a special presentation for Padre Antonio Maria to celebrate his 50 years of priesthood. The exclusive show, recorded at the TV Aparecida auditorium, combined music and spirituality through performances of songs such as “Ninguém Te Ama Como Eu,” “Nossa Senhora,” and “Mãe Aparecida.”
The program included tributes from various artists, including Elba Ramalho, Padre Zezinho, and Marcelo Camargo. Born in Rio de Janeiro to Portuguese immigrants, Padre Antonio Maria entered the seminary at age 16 and was ordained on September 25, 1976, in Jaraguá, São Paulo. Throughout his career, he has released more than 15 albums, using music as a tool for evangelization both in Brazil and abroad.
