Padre Bernardo: Five suspects killed in police confrontation

Five suspected members of the Terceiro Comando Puro (TCP) criminal faction were killed during a confrontation with the Goiás Military Police (PM-GO) in Padre Bernardo. The operation took place in the Divinópolis sector at a residence being monitored by intelligence units.

According to police reports, the suspects opened fire on officers as they approached the property. Three individuals died at the scene, while two others died after being transported for medical treatment. The group was allegedly involved in various crimes, including homicide, torture, threats, and drug trafficking.

During the search of the premises, authorities seized a significant cache of weapons, including four revolvers, three 9mm pistols, one 9mm submachine gun, and two 12-gauge shotguns. Additionally, police recovered ballistic vests, ammunition, and approximately 16 kg of drugs, including marijuana.
