Pafos FC defeats Karmiotissa 3-0 in Cyprus League opener

Pafos FC secured a dominant 3-0 victory against Karmiotissa in their Cyprus League season opener at the Stelios Kyriakides Stadium. Dominating much of the match, Pafos took the lead in the 45th minute through Domingos China. They extended their advantage early in the second half when Ngamaleu scored in the 48th minute, followed by a third goal from Anderson in the 61st minute after a defensive error by Karmiotissa.

Following the match, Karmiotissa coach Alexis Garpozis acknowledged the fairness of the result, noting that his side had to field an emergency lineup due to absences. He expressed pride in his players' competitive spirit despite the loss. Garpozis also addressed the team's stadium situation, stating that the club had taken all necessary steps to play at Tsireio, but administrative issues beyond their control had left them without a confirmed venue until recently.
