Pafos FC faces domestic pressure following Conference League draw

Pafos FC is shifting its focus back to the Cypriot domestic league following a 1-1 home draw against Riga in the Conference League League Phase. The result, seen as a missed opportunity against a theoretically beatable opponent, has left the team struggling to find consistency.

Under coach Ricardo Sá Pinto, the club has faced criticism for instability and an inability to maintain performance levels despite a talented roster. After a series of recent results, including consecutive draws against APOEL in the league and Riga in Europe, the team is seeking to break a winless streak.

Pafos FC is scheduled to face Nea Salamis in Larnaca for the 7th matchday of the domestic championship. For Pafos, the match is viewed as a critical opportunity to regain momentum and boost player confidence ahead of their upcoming competitive fixtures.
