Pafos FC prepares for Anorthosis match following fan ban reversal

Pafos FC is preparing for a challenging away match against Anorthosis at the Antonis Papadopoulos Stadium. Following a recent defeat against AEL, Pafos FC aims to secure three points to return to winning form. Manager Ricardo Sa Pinto is evaluating his squad, with the fitness of player Korea being a key uncertainty.

The match conditions have changed following a decision by the Cyprus Football Association Court of Appeal. The court unanimously overturned a previous penalty that would have forced Anorthosis to play behind closed doors, meaning fans will be permitted to attend. While a travel ban for an away match was also canceled, a fine remains in effect. The return of supporters is expected to provide a significant boost to Anorthosis as they look to defend their home ground against the quality of the Pafos FC squad.
