Pafos FC pursues Sporting Lisbon midfielder Koba Koindredi

Pafos FC is in advanced negotiations to sign 24-year-old midfielder Koba Koindredi from Sporting Lisbon. The Cypriot club reportedly holds an advantage in the race for the player over Swiss side Servette.

Koindredi, who was born in Djibouti and has represented France at youth international levels, is currently out of Sporting's first-team plans and training with the reserves. He is under contract with the Portuguese club until the summer of 2028. His recent season included a loan spell at FC Basel, where he made 42 total appearances and scored two goals.

Pafos FC aims to leverage its strong connections in the Portuguese market and the prospect of European competition to secure the versatile 1.86m midfielder. The club views him as a key addition to strengthen their midfield for both domestic and UEFA competitions.
