Pafos FC takes league lead after 1-0 win against AEK

Pafos FC secured a 1-0 victory against AEK at the AEK Arena, moving to the top of the league standings with seven points from three matches. The decisive goal was scored by Dragomir in the 62nd minute following a cross from Pepe.

Following the match, Pafos FC manager Ricardo Sa Pinto noted that the team has managed various injury challenges since the start of the season, specifically mentioning Dragomir’s recent return to availability. Sa Pinto expressed satisfaction with the team's control of the game but remarked that they should have scored earlier and noted his belief that the team was denied a penalty during the match.

Despite a late push from AEK, including a shot that hit the post in the 74th minute, Pafos FC maintained their lead to remain at the top of the table.
